Dr. Hans Pelster
Born 1955, married, two children.
Graduated from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technical High School (Aachen, Germany), gaining a speciality of “welding engineer”. After graduation he worked in Germany as chief engineer of material science at RWTH Institute and scientific assistant on innovative technologies at the Scientific Research Institute Mannesmann.
He dedicated 20 years of his career to Mannesmann Corporation. He began working there in 1987 as technical consultant at the German enterprise. In 1988 he was promoted to production engineer and head of the hot finishing shop at Mannesmann Röhrenwerke in Remscheid.
In 1994 he moved to Mannesmann DMV Stainless Headquarters in Paris, France for 1 year as technical manager. He was back to German office in 1995 where he held the post of planning and logistics director. Since 1997 he was the head of hot extrusion shop.
In 2006 he joined Centravis as Innovations Director and consultant, mainly responsible for investments on new equipment and new technology.
